Monocultivar Carolea extra virgin oil
Our Monocultivar Carolea extra virgin oil represents the most important dressing used in the Mediterranean diet. It is for this reason that we pay the greatest attention to the care of the plants and during the hand picking of the olives right up to the cold pressing stage. To maintain the quality of our excellent Calabrian oil made from 100% Carolea olives, we use convenient 3 litre olive oil tins which are also good for storage. This oil is a must both in private homes and in the kitchens of master chefs.
AROMA:
An unmistakable scent of wild nature with hints of almond, artichokes, strawberry tree and grasses. Pleasingly fruity.
TASTE:
A decisive and elegant flavour, the bitter spicy nuances are moderately intense and balanced. Pure in character, blending the purity of the micro-climate provided by the sea and the mountains.
FOOD MATCHES:
The Carolea olive oil can be used with any ingredient but brings out the best in crudités, salads, soups, pulses, smoked food, red meat and stews.
It is much sought after and used in gourmet cuisine where it enhances any dish.
